Building a Better ButanoGirl Scouts of Northern California Camp Butano Creek Building a Better Butano FundGREAT NEWS!We have embarked on an exciting journey that will make a huge "splash" at Camp Butano Creek Girl Scout camp! Recently, one of our campers said, "Wouldn't it be great if we could turn the big field into something we could actually use, like a huge play area?" The rest of the unit chimed in, "Awesome!" A great idea was born! With imaginations inspired for the enormous potential for fun and growth for our campers, we realized that with our amazing Girl Scout family and supportive community, we can turn the girls' ideas into a reality. We are excited to invite you to join us in Building a Better Butano! THE PLANThe Building a Better Butano fund will provide Camp Butano Creek a water play area, ropes course, new archery range and sports court located in the big field area. In conjunction with the addition of a new activity area, there are several other important tasks to accomplish, such as building new unit facilities and adding shower facilities. SUCCESSCamp Butano Creek is only made possible by your support of Girl Scouts and the fun-loving volunteers who dedicate many long hours to create a magical environment for our girls. Because this camp runs on Girl Scout volunteer power (the greenest power of all), the camper fees are some of the most affordable in Northern California. With a little additional support, you will be providing girls in our community with even more opportunities to develop self-confidence build new skills and learn to help others through their summer camp experiences. What a wonderful way to make a difference in the future of our world - Girl Scouts, Where Girls Grow Strong! Check out some of the ways you can help to make "the plan" a reality with Building a Better Butano. SUPPORTHere are several ways you can help with Building a Better Butano:
