Welcome to Butano Creek Girl Scout Camp

Welcome to Camp Butano Creek! We are a volunteer-staffed resident camp under the supervision of Girl Scouts of Northern California. Together we run three sessions of overnight summer camp at GSNorCal's Camp Butano Creek. Our traditional camp program includes making new friends, songs, campfires, skits, archery and crafts. In addition, each unit of girls has their own special activities which can include: horseback riding on the beach, backpacking in the redwoods, field archery, pottery, kayaking, stand-up paddle boarding, or surfing. Our Counselor-in-Training program is a two-session commitment; learn during session one and work as apprentice staff during either session two or three.
You do not have to be a Girl Scout or even live in Northern California to attend Camp Butano Creek. All girls entering grades 4-12 in the Fall after the coming summer camp season are welcome. We are also looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our amazing Camp Staff Family! Life is just better at camp!

We are affiliated with Girl Scouts of Northern California but you do NOT need to be a girl scout to attend.
