Camp Butano Creek
Resident camp***
Session 3 (7/17-7/24)

Make lasting memories while getting back to camp basics, with traditional camp activities.  Create crafts (including ceramics for all units), take aim with archery and wrist rockets, play games, explore nature and STEM activities, and cook outdoors.  As one of our NEW COVID-19 protocols, individual units will stay together as “nests” for the entire camp session.  Nests will have very limited interaction with staff or campers outside of their nests and only as needed.
Cost for all Units:  $750        (except Kinglets $400)

Units:
Chickadees - 4th & 5th (9 participants)
Quails - 6th, 7th, & 8th (9 participants)
Ravens - 9th & 10th (9 participants)
Pelicans - 11th & 12th (12 participants)

Grades are those a girl is entering in Fall 2021.

Special Unit:
Kinglets (Tags) - girls entering 1st through 3rd grades; boys entering 1st through 7th grades.  A Tag is a child of a staff member and MUST have an adult family member on CBC staff to register.

Tags is its own unit, participating in all camp activities: including crafts, and archery or wrist rockets.  Under Tag staff supervision 24-hours a day, Tags MUST be comfortable with living (daily routines; dressing, bathing) and sleeping away from their staff parent for 8 days/nights

PLEASE NOTE: At any time, Girl Scouts of Northern California, the county of San Mateo or the state of California can say that we cannot hold in-person camp this summer. If this happens, we will transfer all Session 3 registrations to Virtual camp, M-F, July 19 – 23
