Join us for Virtual Camp!

Our Friendly Faces of Butano Creek virtual camp was a great success in 2020.  We are running two sessions of this camp again for summer 2021.  There is specific time allotted each day for a "unit" to meet - the same volunteer staff meeting with the same group of girls.  These "Unit Staff" plan one hour a day (M-F) of small group time where campers and staff can really get to know each other.  The remainder of our camp time is filled by our "Workshop Staff" who lead a one hour session for all campers on the topic of their choice.  We hope you'll join us!

We are accepting NEW staff for Virtual Camp and you can live anywhere!  Please join us! 

Workshop Staff

Have a skill, craft or activity to share with our campers?  Then being a workshop staff member is right for you.  The majority of our virtual camp time is filled by our workshop staff who run hour-long programs for our campers.  You can lead a craft, teach a skill, or lead an activity.  Some ideas from last year include guided mug-cake making, running a virtual escape room, guided meditation, or spa crafts.

Unit Staff

Do you enjoy really getting to know your campers?  Then being a Unit Staff member might be the right fit.  You will visit with the same group of campers for five, one-hour sessions (one each day).  You, your co-staff, and your campers will decide together what activities you will do to the fill the time with some suggestions and guidance from our Directors.  This is a great way for girls to get to bond in a virtual environment.
